    heyman....im not too much a hardcore gamer.......but is the spec listed above enough to play most of the new games coming out in medium level graphix?

    That'll play 3/4 of all new games on medium level graphics, and the other 1/4 on lower level. Not sure which system you are asking about, you didn't note...but if you are going for the E1520 the 8600GT is highly recommended...but if it's the M1330 or E1420 you don't have much of a choice ;)

    I seriously doubt that the 8400M GS will be able to handle Crysis, Bioshock, UT, Haze, or any other new game well....If it runs the games, it will probably be low settings.

    The 8600M GT is your best bet right now to get medium gaming for a 1.5 to 2 years.

    The $180 upgrade is worth the money bro.

    Also, that processor is horrible. Try to get at least the T7100 and if that makes it out of your budget, try to get the next best thing.
