    is this normal on an E1405?

    The lower half of the chasis that borders the LCD isn't flat on the LCD panel itself, you can flex it in but it won't stay. If you look down on the screen from above it looks like a gap between the LCD and the chasis at the bottom, it's worst in the middle but is also on the sides(more on yje right than left) It's kinda hard to explain so if you need me to post a pic then I can. I just want to know whether this is something people have noticed with their systems out of the box or i something happened to my computer so that it's now like this. Thanks!

    l noticed that my E1405's lid doesn't seem straight when closed; it looks like its bowing in the middle. But l can live with it for the price that dell charges for these things.

    I have the exact same issue. I assume this is normal. It hasn't caused any problems for me as far as general laptop use.
