its been an interesting journey

hey guys,
its been almost two months, since i started my head banging in order to get myself a decent laptop. swinging in the dilemma over an hp and a dell i finally decided to order a dell inspiron1520(timely arrival of the new inspirons with nvidia 8600 gt,swung the vote in dell's favour). then came customizing it to fit my needs and most importantly my budget. after feverish debates and discussions on this site i finally placed my order on the 13th of july and i am glad to anounce that i'll be receiving it tomorrow. i thank you all in helping me out in making my decision and i hope it is a right one too. hoping to receive ur support and technical know-how in order to test , benchmark and extract maximum mileage from my system.

thanks. sorry, but the colour i went for was spring green. i initially opted for ruby red but it would have delayed my order by 1 month. btw ur config is awesome .too bad dell doesnt offer those specs in india at an affordable rate.(no coupons, no univ discounts)

 

well i hope i'll give a review on this forum which incidentally will be my first.it'll be mighty helpful for people out here in india who cant get specs like a t7300 or a 2 gig ram without going bankrupt!
