Plug the flash drive into your computer. It should show up as an external hard drive. Copy your music to your the drive. Repeat the process on your notebook except copy the music from the drive to your laptop.

You've probably got an iPod as well I'm guessing. If so a couple guys reccomended I use a program called iDump. It worked really well and was very easy to transfer songs/videos from my iPod to the My Music folder or iTunes music folder.

However, I'd advise that you get the songs on your new PC first BEFORE installing itunes if you use this method. Everytime you plug your iPod in (if you've got itunes installed) itunes opens up and stops the transfer.

Go to My Music folder and copy the iTunes folder. Then put that folder in the My Music/Music folder in your new comp.

Transfer the folder with your actual music files (if they are not in the iTunes folder).

Install iTunes. Everything should get detected if you had all music in the iTunes folder.
    Otherwise, go to Edit>Preferences>Advanced>General.
Here select where the folder with the music files is (on the new comp, of course). Wait for iTunes to update its info.

    Enjoy.
