    i just bought my lappy and i used the dell coupons (with helped hell alot)
    i gotta question... is it sure that my laptop arrives the exact day they tell me? no i didnt add colors..

    laptop on sig. :D all for 1,084 (including TAX and coupon)

    p.s any recomendations or opinions about this laptop?

    2GB ram... you can get them cheaper online. There's a Kingston 2x1GB for $70.99 at Fry's

    i add that cuz for the coupon to be valid i had to make the laptop worth 1,300 so i just add another RAM =]

    No, it is not guaranteed...the estimated ship date is just that...an ESTIMATE. Also, it greatly depends on which color you got...

    I think if u selected items with no delays you have a good probability that it will ship sooner. My estimated Ship date used to be the 27th but it shipped today or at least so they say.

    the thing with the ram is that the 1GB option is 2 512 ones that they wouldnt change it for the world...otherwise people would order the 1gb 1 dimm and add 1 more later for MUCH less than 100$

    My Vostro 1500 had an estimated arrival date on Sept 12. But it arrived at my house 22 Aug :)

    XxLblinkxX, there is no 1280x900 screen. It's either 1280x800 or 1440x900.
