    My 17 is still sitting in production. Has been for about 4 -5 days now. I too went for the tangarine orange and will do a quick unbox video and photos, when it comes.

    That is of course provided my 8gb SDHC card arrives before the laptop does. It's an even money bet at the moment.

    I can't wait for my 17 either but starting to get a bit impatient. I ordered mine on 12/09/08 and still in production since the 13/09/08 (uk).

    Me too. Ordered 07/09/08 and its still in "production" on the 18/09/08 (UK). Rang customer services and they told me it's still waiting to be assembled. Estimated DD on or before 26/09/08. :(

    :mad: I've rung the number listed under customer services 0870 906 0010 then gone through the choices til i spoke to a "customer adviser" who told me that they can still make the 26th because it takes them less than 4 hours to build and test. I also got the same response via email. I've had to book a days leave in advance so woe betide them if they change the Estimated Delivery Date!

    Latest advice from Dell is that it is in production right now - but not to book Friday as leave. Sounds like that estimated date is not going to be met to me :(

    Just checked Order Status - Revised EDD 7th October. Emailed Dell customer services with rant! :mad:

    One irate Customer phone call/email and now its been ready for delivery :) Funny that :rolleyes: eh. Oh well prahaps it will be delivered tomorrow afterall.
