overall the build quality is better, case is straight as an arrow, the speaker area is even and not wobbly or out of place. there is no hard drive ticking, the new one is a fujitsu HDD the old tickin one was a seagate (these are 160 gb 7200 rpm). there is still some noise coming from the express card slot area, more of a buzz and not as high pitched as the old one was. The new one is using a different screen a LG screen, the other one is an unknown one, I have the ccfl version... anyways the unknown screen is superior to the LG, the LG has a very blueish tint to it while, the unknown is just white, no tint and it seems brighter and has true colors. the unknown screen is much more pleasant to look at side by side.

I don't know if i want to keep the new one, the screen is just not as nice, and that freakin noise coming from the right side just sucks!

I think the old comp, has the A03 motherboard while the new one has the A04
also the old comps keyboard seems to miss's some of letters when typing
