i got only one question for u
now that dell no longer offers "crimson red" except of course on the new product red rubbish
what is ur opinion on the blue panel?!!
wont mind some pics!!
did u really choose blue over red?!! -
well blue is my favorite color so come on now red doesnt hold a candle to it. the midnight blue is actually a matte finish which i didnt know. i was expecting it to be glossy but i'm totally glad its matte bc i always see matte as being more exotic and glossy being cheesey. i'll prolly get some pics up later... i'm to busy setting everything up!

is your screen really bright? I am thinking about re-ordering a 1530 in the future with a higher resolution. The screen i had on the one I sent back was the basic 1280x800, but it was really sharp and crisp
-
the LG screen is really bright, i have to dim it to use it sometimes,,
1440x900 works great for me..i think 1680 on 15 inch is useless... -
yea the LG is bright but im not super impressed by the brightness. i'm coming from an abs mayhem g2(rebranded mitac 1580) which was 15.4" at 1280x800 and other than the dell being glossy and the mitac wasnt. id say the LG is only a lil bit brighter than my old mitac. i actually tried to turn the screen up when i first turned it on bc i wasn't sure if this was how bright it was supposed to be.
