i noticed that your laptop has a 400 MHz FSB and 533 MHz ram...i was under the impression that the ram runs at FSB speed right? so the ram will be running at 400 MHz? That was the reason why i went up to 533 MHz fsb. does anyone know about this?

Well. Slap in a dvd and pause it on a blank screen, check the screen, open notepad, maximize it. check screen. Stuff like that for Dead pixels.

Light leakage is normal so dont have a cow when you notice it.

I would download Notebook Hardware Control from http://www.pbus-167.com/chc.htm And tweak the settings to your liking.

Check for heat issues.. Put your CPU at max performance using NHC (mentioned aboce) See if there is alot of heat near the left of the keyboard . Please Note: the right side is where your GPU ( Graphics processor ) lies. So you will have a little warmth because on the i6000d the GPU does not have a fan on it which is not that bad, my GPU does not go above 46 celsius running Battlefield 2 highest setting ( which is medium/low,) Which is nice for a Notebook.
