PERSONAL OPINION:
I'm not saying anything bad about your system, just some things I would have done.


The processor is a heftup upgrade that MAY not be needed. $575 for 2.4Ghz......... I would personally go with 2.0ghz for 195.

T7700 can be bought on it's own for under $400. It's a new release and in a few months, it'd be under $300
do you need the 2.4Ghz, prolly not. you could prolly get away with even 1.8ghz for now and in the future drop a 2.4ghz for a LOT less then what u'll be paying now.


Thats just me, thats why i got the lowest santa rosa compatible core 2 duo chip which i'll upgrade later if i feel the need to. so far, even at 1.6ghz, it'll run everything i've thrown at it .

Actually they ran out of 2.0GHz processors. When I ordered 2.2Ghz was an additional 216$ and 2.4GHz was an additional 200$. I wanted 2.0GHz but I couldn't get it

 

I just don't see my self spending $575 on an UPGRADE. That's just me though, if you got the dough, sure why not.

 

My laptop costs less then $575.
