I am shopping for a laptop and am looking at the Dell Inspiron 600. Since I can't try it out in a store, I'm wondering if you all could advise me on what the keys feel like when typing. There seem to be two kinds of keyboards: soft, gummy or spongy keys and harder, clicky or bouncy keys. Are you familiar with these different sensations? I prefer the harder keys (and I like them to make a clicking noise, although I know a lot of people don't like that!). Can anyone describe the Dell laptop keyboards?

    Thanks for your help.

if you're talking about the 6000, i would say they are hard and clicky... no flex on this one (unlike my old inspiron 2100)

Actually I'm talking about the Inspiron 600M, not the 6000.
