Just got a 1505. I noticed that I can lock the numbers but still need to press the function key in order to use the integrated number pad. Is this standard procedure or is there another avenue that no pressing of the function key?

    Thanks.

That's how you have to go about doing it. Any letter/number/symbol in blue must be accessed in tandem with the FN key. If you need a better # pad, consider a USB solution. They are set up just like a desktop--much faster & easier IMO.
