    keypad and touch pad issue

    Hi , i have a Dell inspiron9400 , when typing at normal speed it skips letters , but if type slowly it works fine ,eg of typing at normal speed , moemaks the worldo rd (money makes the world go around ),also when i tap on the mouse pad to enter , it wont work most times , but left click will , ive checked drivers and ran anti virus , any ideas ? im thinking a new iMac deskop ??? ! :)

    Have you considered replacing the keyboard and palmrest? Usually those tend to go bad after many years on the old school Inspirons.

    I did a little searching hoping to find it would be a system or software issue , but i tried re connecting the keyboard , still acting up , will look in to replacing it so ,

    Have you tried like a Windows pre-boot enviroment disc or a like a Linux live/Bart PE disc to rule out drivers/software vs hardware?
