    i was sitting here on my xps II, just fiddilin with it.. and got to wondering. What dose XPS stand for?

    I don't think it stands for anything, other than the X being for Extreme.

    i was kinda thinking along the lines of the same thing.. Xtream Processing System.. why dont we know the answer to this? what if it means Xtream Pieceof S*it?

    I thought I read on something with dell that it was the xtreme player's system. I could be wrong though.

    Not sure, but my old P3 450MHz Dell Dimension was called a 'XPS T450'

    I guess it was Extreme once as well. :p
