    hi
i recently bought some speakers to use with a couple of things and they have their own volume adjuster (or tuner or whatever you call it). i wanted to connect them to my laptop. since i connect the speakers to the tuner then from the tuner to the laptop, is there any way to force the volume to go up and down as i use the tuner instead of putting the tuner on max and then raise/lower the volume from the laptop buttons?

    i have a 1520
and i posted it here for that reason.
    thanks

Yes, just do the opposite. Put both the hardware adjuster at the highest level and then the software OS volume level at 100% and then you can use the speaker tuner to control the volume.
