I'm thinking about i9300 or i700 pentium m. I will use my laptop for just typing, surfing, movies, music, and occasional gaming. Everything is fine but 700m's screen seems too small for typing and browsing but 9300 seems too powerful..and alittle more expensive(planning to spend about $1100< Any suggestions?

I want widescreen by the way :)

The 700m will do you good! I just got mine and i love it! Do a search on it here and you will c a bunch of my posts about it.
Only cons on 700m are the clucky mouse...which i never even use...i justt use the touchpad. Video card is shared..but still damn good for dvd's. The screen and keyboard are harped about to much i think b/c in my opinion their both beautiful.

good point neoufo, the i6000 lies between the 700m and i9300 in terms of size and you should take a look at that. mobri09 is right about the screen on the 700m, it's a beauty, but if you feel you need something bigger than the 700m then you should move up to a 15" screen that the i6000 provides.
