    I have the 1420 8400m gs

    after you go to laptopvideo2go.com
    do you choose from

    162.18 · Vista 64bit
    162.18 · XP 64bit
    162.18 · Vista 32bit
    162.13 · Vista 32bit
    163.11 · Vista 32bit

the bold one (in my case vista 32bit)
    and download/install that?

im slightly confused because the 162.13 version (older im guessing) the file size is bigger

I got the 162.13s, but only because they were at the top of the page. :)

They did measurably increase my 3DMark06 score though so that was good. As opposed to the thread on the 162.18s where someone said their framerates were down significantly.

I grabbed the latest XP ones and they work great. I got a significant improvement with them in XP over the Dell ones in Vista.
