    Hi All

I posted this in the gaming section but got no reply so I thought maybe the dell section is more relevant?

Recently got a latitude D610 with X300 card, I was just wondering if anyone knows if it is ok to install ATIs catalyst drivers onto my dell system ? even thought ATI say not to install the drivers on some manufactures laptops (ie only use the manufactures drivers)

    Has anyone them iinstalled ?

    link to the drivers is:
    https://support.ati.com/ics/support/...asp?deptID=894

    thanks for any help

well it may or may not bother anyone, but just in case anyone else is wondering:

    Origional dell drivers: 901 3dmark05
    Omega (based on 5.12): 896 3dmark05
    ATI catalyst 5.13: 1003 3dmark05

needless to say I'm sticking with the ATIs

Yeah, you can install them just fine. At driverheaven.net, you can download the latest Mobility Catalyst 5.13's. Those are the latest, and best-performing.
