My left speaker on my e1505 isn't working all of a sudden. i set the volume to go only on left and max and all i hear is a bit of noise but when i switch it to the right speaker is loud. Is there something wrong with the speaker?

Yeah, it sounds like your speaker went out or connection came loose - something is wrong hardware wise. Contact Dell and see what they say. If you have the at home warranty, you should be able to get this fixed by the weekend.

You can try. I don't know if you are still with in the 21 day period or if Dell will do that since they'll most likely consider this a minor problem. It wouldn't hurt to try though. You never know with dell
