    hey guys i just got my e705 but for some reason my pointer keeps having have loading sign where the hourglass shows up every 15 seconds or so, and i dont even have that many processes running, why does the hourglass keep showing up like that. it comes up all the time and im not even doing anything, what could it be? help pleaseee!!!! :eek:

    maybe an update or background process you can't see is happening

    it might be xp indexing your HD. i turned it off on mine.

    Try removing Google Desktop if you have that. Several users have similar complaints and found that removing Google's Desktop which is preloaded on most Dells seemed to fix the problem.
