I read on another thread that the vostro 1500 doesnt offer a 1440x900 option, but don't they offer it, because of the Wide Screen XGA+, which IS 1400x900?

Also do you recommend truelife or not? Thanks.

Dell does have a 1400X900 screen. Its listed as wide screen XGA+, which is the same as WXGA+. Getting truelife or anti-glare is up to you. If you are going to use your laptop alot where there are lots of bright lights all over the place, then reflections may become a problem and an anti-glare screen would be better. But, getting an anti-glare screen will reduce the contrast ratio and the vibrancy of the colors.
