hi im planning on buying a 6000 pretty soon i have these following specs...

    Intel® Pentium® M Processor 760 (2GHz/2MB Cache/533MHz FSB)
Genuine Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2005
15.4 inch UltraSharp WUXGA LCD Panel
    1GB DDR SDRAM 2 Dimms
    128MB DDR ATI's MOBILITY RADEON X300 PCI Express x16
    60GB 5400rpm Hard Drive
ntegrated 10/100 Network Card and Modem
    8x CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW) with double-layer DVD+R write capability
    Intel® PRO/Wireless 2915 Internal Wireless (802.11 a/b/g, 54Mbps)

i was wondering if it would be able to run games like call of duty 2 and world of warcraft

and any advice on buying a good laptop with the price around $1500 that will be able to handle some gaming?

    thanks for your help.

Yes it will be able to play COD2 and WOW. It won't be able to play them at high settings but, low / medium won't be a problem. Also $1500 sounds like a lot!!!! Did you use the $500 off $1599 coupon? The laptop that you have configered should at most cost $1300-$1400 after the coupon.

The Asus Z71v, HP dv4000, Dell 9300 if the get the 6800 card back and the MSI 1029 are some choices. On a side note, on a 15.4" WUXGA laptop some of the text will be awfully small. If you can check it out before hand I would recommend it especially if you have never seen one before. Good Luck.
