    low fps on my new 9300

    i have the 1.8 centrino, 80gb, 256 6800, 512mb. and well when i play CS source. i avg. 30-60fps. i think that is a lil low for my video card. how i raise it? is there a driver out there betta then the one that came with the notebook. the settings are the ones that game said i should use. so can someone help me out?

    you may try using laptopvideo2go drivers or omega drivers, just google it and they have drivers for the 6800.

    if you're running the laptop with everything dell threw in there then i suggest a clean format and reinstall. i had the same problem on my 6000 and after a fresh install, wiping out all the junk dell had put on there, my laptop is fast.

    I have the exact same setup on my 9300, CS plays very well. I get around 100 fps on the stress test at 1280x800 widescreen all settings on high 4xAA 8xAF.

    Thats great too hear! Only differences i have are 1gb of ram and the 7200rpm drive coming! Glad to hear that the I9300 can handle CS:Source well. Now if only mine would ship... [:0]

    Doom 3 looked good... WoW looked great. ut04 is perfect.

    Its been in boxing since 3-16...I wish those silly Malaysians would invent a teleportation machine so it'd arrive in the US faster :)
