    Hi there,

Been diligently searching this and other forums for some sort of definitive answer on the m1210 boot problem. I have 2 ghz, 80 g 7200, 7400, 1 g RAM, XP Pro, webcam. Though otherwise thrilled with this machine, the **** thing boots properly at seemingly random times. Sometimes three or four times in a row no problem, sometimes, like now, 6 or 7 balck screens whether I boot normal, or last good config. Safe mode always works.

Yes, I have used Alc 120 and D-tools, but have worked with uninstalling, and with only one or the other installed, but no real difference. Have unistalled, reinstalled and changed webcam driver. No difference. Currently have D-tools 4.08 installed, no Alc.

Please, is there any answer anywhere that is definitive on this ? I see lots of folks with this issue. Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe that is the only answer. Just seems odd there is no work around given how many have encountered it. Any other ideas out there ?
