    Yes, "people with the Core 2 Duo T5000 and T7000 need to visit Microsoft's site," they're saying the T5000 and T7000 series has been affected.

    This includes the T7200.

    that patch only applies to C2D, patch or not patch, not a big problem, patching it will improve reliability (MS stated), maybe you will get less BSOD? Patch as much as you can until the warranty ends, bcoz, if anything goes wrong when patching the BIOS, you need to send it to the factory to reinstall the BIOS.

    Dell recently updated their bios for the D630, listing it as 'urgent' in the process. I wonder if it addresses this issue...
