I recently installed an Atheros AR5006EX wlan card in my xps m1210 and the wifi status light above the keyboard doesn't light up. is this because it's linked to the intel card and software? is there anyway i can get it to work regularly again? thanks for your help.

I'm not 100% sure of the problem. There have been problems before with the wifi turning off randomly, but it doesn't affect your wifi connection. This happens to me daily and I have the intel card.

    So far, I haven't found a fix.
