Oddly enough, before I ordred my m1210 with the AV pack (includes the headphones), I ordred some Sennheiser CX300 headphones for mp3 use. Well, i got in my m1210 first, and noticed the headphones were the in ear plug type, but I still looked fwd to my CX300's.
Well they just arrived, and Im surprised that they are nearly identical looking. I havent opened the Senns because, if they are identical, Ill just gift them away.
Can anyone confirm that the dell oem ones are in fact sennheisers? It would be nice because the CX300 are $70 headphones.
Upon further inspection, it looks like the dells even have an advantage with a goldplated plug (yeah i know not a big dea, but its not on the cx300)

the dell oem's are the senn cx300/creative ep630 which are anyway the same ep's...so just to confirm:

cool, good to confirm. I have read that the creatives and senns have diff specs, so people believe they are different...im listning to both, and dont hear a difference. To me, these dells are not bad.

No the ear buds arnt bad at all. They have good sound quality/loudness for ear buds, and they also do a good job of blocking external noises. They have infact replaced my old ear buds and I now use them alot. I actually have 2 sets of them now since I got another 1210, just in case I need a backup or loose one of them
m1210 av pack headphones = sennheiser CX300?
