Hey, I just got a m1210 and I was wondering what programs you guys use to undervolt and just control the speed of your computer. I'm using Windows Vista now. I tried to install NHC for the most part it works, just it doesn't allow me to change the voltage of the cpu, and when i try to change the speed to Max battery it stays at 1.83. So I dont know what to do. Is there any other programs that will work with the m1210 using vista?? Thanks for any comments

RM Clock is what you are looking for. I have done a nice little tutorial on a Gateway MT6451. The only difference is that I don't know what your stable voltages would be so you would need to test that out. Where I have stated stable VID's they are for a turion 64x2 tl-50 and they are most likely different for your computer. You can also try searching google for stable VID's for you processor. Hope this helps! http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?p=2013012

I've been using these settings in RMClock without any problems

    0.950v and 6x multiplier = 1.00ghz
reported core temp drops from 57c to around 50c

Battery saving is an experiment. I downclock my processor to .80ghz from 1.6ghz and undervolt from 1.100 to .950. But that was trial and error. I went to low and then got a funny screen so I had to boot to safe mode and then up it .500 volts as I had it too low. It's just like overclocking in the sense that you go in the smallest increment possbile until you get a stable setting. Hope this helps.
