I have a 1210 in my basket right now, its 609 b/f tax/shipping. It needs some upgrades to make it work for me (1gb ram...) but otherwise its perfect. What do you think about the price versus a

M1330 for around 850 on ebay with similar specs.

M1210 is also scratch/dent on the outlet. Anyone had bad experiences with those?

Dell just exchanged my m1210 for a new m1330 and I couldn't be happier.

    It's not that I didn't like the m1210....I just like the m1330 better! :)

if your not doing any gaming, the 1210 is a great value and at that price thats very good. With ram,HD's and old cpu's prices are low, go for it.

What do you think about integrated graphics in the m1330? I don't really game anymore, so i guess its no big deal.

I have a 759$ m1330 in my cart right now. 2gb, 9cell battery, 120gb hard drive (no LED screen), integrated graphics.

The graphics are no great shakes on the M1210, though RAM is certainly not an issue as both can hold 4 GB of RAM, which should cost around $60 (after rebate).

Note, though, that the M1210 has one of its RAM slot buried beneath its keyboard, as opposed to the M133O, where both are easily accessible after removing their cover on the underside of the notebook.

Just my opinion, but I always think its worth it to upgrade over the integrated graphics. It'll be there if you need the extra power. Both me and my sister have the m1330, mine an LED and hers a standard screen and the difference is like night and day, so if you can save up for the LED, I would do that

Cuz man do I HATE grainy. I have a tablet with a screen that is super grainy, and it annoys the hell out of me.

I am trying to decide whether to wait out the normal dell site, or just settle with an outlet deal.

    Finally pulled trigger on

    m1330
    integrated video
    normal screen
    2gb ram
    120gb hard drive
    dvd burner
    6cell battery

    709 + tax/shipping

Can't wait. I couldn't afford the LED ones, and the possibility I would get a grainy screen made it not worth waiting.

Thats still a nice laptop you got there for a great deal. I got my 1330 in my sig for $1200 with a spare 6-cell battery and a 4 year warranty. I got a Toshiba screen and its as beautiful as my unborn baby :)

    Just got

    m1330
    9cell battery
    2gb ram
    120gb
    integrated gfx
    LED

799.99 + tax/shipping=860 for it. This is just within what I am willing to pay, upgraded battery & screen made it worth it.

Also: TMD screen, which evidently is the good one per many threads here.

Great snag. You should get close to 4 hours on a 6 cell and integrated graphics.

Update: The LED was grainy. I like the LCD better. I am returning the LED and keeping the LCD. It looked exactly like my tablet.

M1210 vs M1330 is like Grandpa vs Grandson. How can you compare the two? One is rotting old and the other is F... bold!

I kept the m1330, I really like it. Its a little buggy currently, but hopefully a reinstall will fix it.
