How did you get that graphics score to be that high? (I'm assuming you didn't cheat by editing the XML file.)

yeah i was wondering too, 5.9 is good for a 7400, i have a X1400 which is supposedly the same (equivalent) and i only get 3.6??? any thing i can do do improve it apart from OC?

Your not being very clear in posts.

First of all, how is this computer slower, be specific. With your config, Vista should fly very quickly. Your Vista also looks off, there is not way you could have goten those GPU scores.

I strongly advice against overclocking anything in a M1210. Because cooling is a big issue for compact notebooks. Besides, you are getting an unbelievably high graphics index even now, why do you want to overclock ? I don't know how or why you get 5.9 graphics score, because I have a T7200, 2GB and a Go7400 but only get 3.6 (graphics) and 3.4 (Gaming graphics). That is the average score most M1210 users have reported (yet to see anything above 4). Definitely something strange is going on. Cos no matter what, there can't be such a disparity of scores for the same card.

Vista performance index is not a very good way to measure graphics performance. Use an actual 3D benchmark like 3DMark, Aqua Mark or run a game and measure the FPS (Frames Per Second) count.

Yeah, too many questions which are hard to understand. Play with the voltage settings and see how you get on.

Or better yet, leave it alone, seems to run fine as is. What are you trying to achieve?

As I said before. Do not overclock your notebook. You can not overclock the CPU because motherboard will not allow it. Overcloking a Go7400 will not do any good either, because it will heatup the notebook. Therefore the risk of damaging your notebook due to overheating is certainly not worth the negligible performance gain you might get from overclocking.

If you feel that your computer is slow, check the processor list (task manager) to see if there are any unwanted background applications. Are you using any virus guards/ firewalls ? because some virus guards and firewalls are known to consume lot of resources.

also try using adaware... this is a piece of software you can download which will get rid of any spyware and cookies which potentially slow you computer down also...

Lol what a persistent fellow. I hope he doesn't fry anything. Doubt it was an ad/spy issue because he only had his computer for a week.
