    m1210 webcam fix?

    The webcam on my m1210 stops working when the screen is open less than ~95 degrees. At first, I thought that there was something wrong with the webcam itself, but I only recently found the problem while I had the screen almost fully opened and then tried to close it a little bit. At about 95 degrees the camera feed cuts off and any attempt to restart it via the logitech software results in a "camera not found" error.

    Has anyone else experience this or can someone suggest a fix? I don't want to call Dell and have to send the unit back in. I've only had it for about 2 weeks...

    I think you're probably going to have to, that sounds like an internal wire has come loose or something. But, I do think there is some sort of exchange program that Dell has for the XPS systems, they will build you a new one, then you send yours in. Just something to check out...
