Didnt have this problem in the first few months, but lately if the lcd is between the middle range of brightness, it will noticeably hum, once I change the brightness up or down frmo this range, it goes away...anyone else?

I noticed this on my external lcd in the past, but it didnt bother me as much as this laptop..

I've had the notebook for almost a month now, no humming LCD. Mabey it's getting too hot?

What LCD does the 1210 have anyway?

forgot the brand, the aio or something like that. Its nothing to do with the temp because it happens when i first start her up...its not a huge deal, but still annoying

It is the LCD inverter that is making this sound...

I have the same problem with my e1405. if i tap the plastic above the inverter, it quits. most of the time.
