Looks good, but I would add the 3 yr warranty while I'm at it.

the best price I seen so far from outlet was similar spec w/ SSD 32GB HD priced at 1799.

Strange thing on outlet is ones w/ LED screen comes w/ 2.0 cam which seems like it's an error, and I haven't seen a system w/ LED & Fingerprint reader yet.

Can you add the 3year warranty after the fact? I quickly checked out so that I wouldn't lose it. Any idea of the cost? thanks.

I think the price is higher when you add it later on, but you may be able to find a sales person who will give you better price though.

Something is fishy about the spec. 13.3 inch WXGA Slim and Light LED Display with Integrated 2.0 Mega Pixel Web Camera?

Thing is ALL LED options on the outlet have the 2.0 instead of 0.2

It must be typical Dell typo/wrong info.

Should I buy from Dell Outlet or buying it new from Dell?

I'm worried the refurbished is really bad condition and might break down faster than a new one would....what's the condition on those "certified refurbished"?

You can buy from the dell outlet and just get the extended warranty for peace of mind. I think you can find great deals including the scratch and dents.. but you have to be quick. Most of the times the refurbs aren't much less but every now and then, you will find crazy deals.

As for the 2.0 megapixel description, you are definitely right about that. Once I recieve the system and confirm the specs, I will email customer care and see if I can get at least a $25 credit for the typo.

Lets be honest here....Thats a great deal!!! It is a typo with the cam and I have seen it a few times before.

Although i got mine new for less as a result of several extenuating circumstances, i would have grabbed this in a sec if it came up. Good buy!!!

Further, call Dell and try to get them to comp or reduce price on a upgraded warranty.

Good buy depending on the reason its a refurb.. it could very easily be a return from another user on this forum? the whine maybe? With a notebook like the m1330 which had initial quality issues.. I'm skeptical of buying from outlet...
