    I just received my m1330 last week, and i love it! I am just wondering why my internet browser is running slow/different. It's not my internet connection that is slow, because i tested my connection and it's running quite quickly, its firefox, ie, etc. that is slow.

    When i visit websites or click a link on a webpage, most times i have to click the link or the "go" button 2 or 3 times for it to even respond. I am running kaspersky AV, and i tried disabling it, but nothing changed. I believe all of the network drivers are updated as well.

    Any insight would be appreciated, thanks alot

    No idea. My 1330 surfs the internet quicker than any computer I have owned, but I eliminated a lot of the startup programs and background programs. How much ram do you have?

    I have 2GB of RAM, but i believe i found the problem;

    It was in fact, Kaspersky anti-virus, that was slowing down my browsing. Every time Kaspersky would update, it would start to slow down and make my internet less responsive.

    My M1330 is also experiencing the same problems. Sometimes webpages in IE cannot load and say that it cannot display the wepage, and If i reload the page it works. I also have the newest wifi drivers. Anyone have any ideas?

    I just received my new Dell Inspiron 1520 on monday and are experiencing the same slowish internet and have experienced the same things you have mentioned, moonbeam. I have core 2 duo, t5550, 2.5 gb ram, and at any given time the computer useage is anywhere from 4-9%. Any ideas? I am running Norton. I just don't understand if I have a good amount of ram and it isn't pushing any limits.
