 hi, i've recently purchased a XPS m1330 and straight away got to loading and running winXP pro on it.. after much hassle with the SATA drivers and getting the sound card to work everything seems to be running smoothly :)

However, if i connect the laptop to an lcd tv through the HDMI connection i cant get the audio to stop playing from the laptop speakers... soo i have audio coming from the tv and the laptop, and there is a very slight delay of audio from the laptop speakers to the tv speakers.. which can become very annoying. So i was wondering is ther anyway to fix this in winxp? as i didnt have this problem in vista. Also, once the HDMI cable is unplugged, audio will not work on the laptop speakers until it has been reset.
Any help will be much appreciated :)
    Thanks

Switch the sound settings to digital output.

before i installed XP, and was still using vista... there would be an option in the control panel to switch to HDMI audio.. however i cant seem to do the same thing in XP
