I just received my new m1330 on Friday and needless to say it has been a nightmare so far. My laptop would crash whenever I put it in sleep mode so I called Dell on Friday night. They told me it was a Vista issue and just use the hibernate feature instead until service pack 1 comes out because that could solve my problem. OK, that kind of sucked but I could live with that. My next issue was that my laptop would crash when I would shut it down so I called Dell on Saturday with the intention of returning the laptop. Well, the service rep convinced me to try and restore the factoring image of Vista from my recovery partition so I did and that seemed to fix my issues so I was very pleased. Well, after playing around with it some more and installing Firefox again I am back to having sleep and shutdown issues. The problem occurs when I download the module to get my finger print reader to work with Firefox. If I do not download that module then everything works. Does anyone else have this problem? I have to say I am really upset and I am going to return this laptop.

How can it be the laptops fault if you are downloading a faulty piece of software.

I have no problems using the fingerprint reader with Firefox.
