    m1330 doesn't boot up after installing vista Sp1

    I finally installed vista sp1 today but after restart it starts to count something from 0/68611 to 21929/68611 then it stops.

    !! 0xc0000034 !! 21929/68611 (\registry\machine\schema\wcm://microsoft...)

    This is the error message I see and the whole process halts.

    Can anyone help me??? I have a research paper to write and its due tommorow. :(

    A. This happened to me before, while procrastination, i installed some stuff, then im dead in the watter.
    Anyway, id try doing an installation repair with the vista disc, or just use a diff computer to write it, or get a linuz live cd and type it off there, or reinstall vist .... I recomend trying the repair thing first though

    Did you download the SP1 package directly from Microsoft, or did you let it install naturally via Windows Update on your computer?

    Sadly, I had the same issue. I managed to get around it by turning off my computer totally and then turning it back on. I don't know why it worked like the third time, but it did. Now I'm worried that my vista partition won't start up reliably b/c of this sp1 business.
