I have dell coming to replace my chi mei screen. Supposed to be sending a TMD LED screen. This is what the online call tag says:
CX059 SERVICE KIT..., LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY..., 13.3, Wide Extended Graphics Array..., VIDEO ELEC. STDS. ASSOC...., TLF
Isn't this just yet another Chi Mei screen?! I had a replacement notebook sent that was chi mei also nasty looking. So i agreed to have them send a TMD screen and install it even though my laptop is new but is this is another chi mei they can forget about opening up my computer.

Hi, it looks like a Toshiba screen with the TLF tag at the end. Does it have any words to the effect of Transformer Metroplex Desktop? That would confirm it as a Toshiba.

It is a toshiba screen

I decided to skip the tech visit. returned the system ordered again with some coupons saved $300. See how this round goes.

That's funny; in another thread here, the OP's call tag info posted above is determined to be a CMO screen.
I've got the exact same thing coming as a replacement for mine.
Anyone know FOR SURE what cx059 is? I'm pretty sure "TLF" doesn't stand for Toshiba. I thought "TMD" was the clue that it was a Toshiba. -
I got a call from Dell yesterday.
Something about my CX059 being backordered.... -

still waiting on my new m1330 order to arrive. Taking longer then the first one and the first replacement. Possible screen backorder?
