I have this bizzare problem. I have done research, but found nothing like it. When I start of the game "Guild Wars" and log on to my account, and load a character, within 20 seconds of loading the character, the screen goes black. The video, audio, and all other peripherals become unusable. At first I thought it was a driver problem. Updated all drivers, did not fix it. Then I believed it to be over heating issue. I picked up ntune and a copy of prime 95 and 3dmark. Stress temp for cpu maxed safely at around 77C and for gpu, it got it up to 91C. However, while running guild wars, those temps are never reached. This leads me to believe that it is not an overheating problem. This problem is unique to my laptop. I have another computer running vista, and it runs guild wars fine. If anyone has ever had this problem, or has any suggestions other than re-installation of vista, or downgrading to XP, please post them.

Just throwing this out there: but you might get better replies in either the Dell section or Gaming section of this forum.
