I upgraded my RAM from 2*1GB to 2*2GB OCZ RAM but I can only see 1GB available when I run dxdiag. Any ideas?

    Vista 32bit

CPU-Z seems to think I have 2*512MB of PC2-4300 RAM

I still get the same after reseating and swapping the RAM modules around. The BIOS says that there is only 1GB of installed memory in dual channel mode, but the modules definitely say "OCZ 2GB 5-5-5" on them.

    Bios revision: A09

Bios, CPU-Z, dxdiag and system properties all say 1GB.

If you put the old RAM back in do you see 2 GB again?

When only running one stick in either slot I get 512MB memory registered and Windows doesn't want to boot up very well at all >_<

No. The Hynix sticks it came with were something other than hymp564s64cp6, as they were 1gb sticks... Dude, call ebuyer and raise all types of hell.

They've been very helpful with arranging an RMA, I'm going to try reflashing the A09 BIOS again to see if that helps at all before I package it up. I'd feel very silly claiming it's the wrong brand/module if it's a mistake on my end.
