I prefer the 174.12, but the 174.31's give better game performance.
The .31's give me Random BSOD's though.

there shouldnt be..... unless they fixed a big bug.... but i doubt it.... drivers wont drastically change things unless there was something terribly wrong with the previous version..... whats your display anyways? LG or samsung? and how good is it? dark, bright?... i think i saw in another post you were getting the same display as me.... so im wondering

It's better to access the drivers through the LV2G forums.

Personally I think it's a p-i-t-a to go thru the drivers there. I prefer to wait for the official ones via Dell or Windows Update.

You can download 174.31 from Dell. Use the Inspiron 1520 download--it works with the 8600M card on the M1530.

Disregard that it does not state M1530 under supported systems. It is the same driver.

I am very happy with the screen, and i believe it is a lg (DW306) from what i have heard. I was worried because of all the posts about them. The screen is amazing, very very happy, perfect colors, blacks, whites, resolution. I seriously think it is the best laptop screen I have ever seen, my friend has a newer alienware that he always brags about and my screen blows his out of the water. For a glossy screen it has great viewing angles as well. I could go on and on about it, you will be happy.
