    i don't understand how this kind of notebook could be so cheap. I'm just wondering if santa rosa is about to phased out because this is the best laptop deal i've ever seen on a gaming notebook...

    Montevina is phasing out Santa Rosa this summer, though it really has nothing to do with these prices.

    i was this close to pull the trigger but vista was deal breaker for me. will wait till summer when the altitude E comes out with xp sp3
