I've been hearing that Dell is leaning towards LG screens as their sole supplier--now the question is: has anyone who have ordered a m1530 recently not get an LG screen? Or at the very least not getting a Samsung screen? That $619 deal on the site now gives me the choice of a 1440x900 and 1680x1050 and I don't want to go through the hassle of getting a bad screen again. (I returned my initial 1280x800 dell because of this)

So should I bite the bullet? (unless anyone has heard any rumors about those new intel chips and led screens--)

well in the UK the deals came to an end 1 day ago - and we ended up with less screen options across the price bands and no penryn or led..... in a few days you might not even have the option at the price point that you're after.

um.. i just got a 1680x1050 and its the SEC. (samsung)

    i got it on monday

but it's great. no light leak _EXCELENT_ viewing angles.
it could be a little brighter and a littl more vibrant, but it is a very nice pannel!
