    What's the biggest size HD that can be used on a 600M inspiron.

    I assume it is an IDE or UATA. 250 Gb i think.

    my inspiron 700m has 160 Gb 5400 rpm.

    was 20Gb 4200 rpm before.

    IDE. I ask because I ran out of space on my 100 Gb drive so I got a 250 Gb and cloned the 100 to the 250 it works fine only when I shut down and restart than I get black screen and blinking cursor when I should be getting a windows logo boot screen.
