    1) Where on the DELL site, when you put your notebook together (mine would be a E1705, T2500 2.0GHz, GeForce 7900, 1Gig 667Mhz RAM, 100Gig 7200RPM Hdd) does it tell you how long it will take until it's being shipped/mailed to you? I didn't want to go any further than the "Put in your credit card details" part, but my guess is it tells you somewhere before the actual purchase, right?

    2) Do you guys have any experience how long it will prolly take to put this notebook together and mail it to Germany?
    thanks

    1) i Don't think there is any place for u to see how long it takes to be shipped unless u already ordered. after placing the order u will see the esitmate date and they will give u this infomation for accessing this part of the site that tells u how ur shipment is and stuff about it.

They ussualy wait to tell you that in one of the conformation emails. They will send you a tracking number and stuff and then it will all fall together.

I'm in the USA, but for me I have almost always gotten the computer almost exactly a week after the date that I order it.

^ You have been lucky then... I have waited 3 weeks sometimes.... I would say though 2 weeks is about average.

Well, I am lucky in the sense that since I live within a 5 hour drive to Tennessee I usually get UPS ground packages from Dell in 2 days.
