    media buttons not working with itunes??(xps m1330)

    Hi i just got my m1330 and is working very good but... it getting kinda anoyying not being able to use the media buttons to skip, pause, play, and stop songs. Any idea on how to get them to work? I know that dells buttons have had trouble before with itunes.

    Which buttons? The ones on the keyboard or the IR Remote?

    Buttons on the keyboard:
    Prev. - works
    Stop - works
    Play/Pause - works
    Next - works
    all volume works

    IR Remote
    Prev - works
    Stop - works
    Play/pause - works
    Next - works
    Rewind - not working
    FastForward - not working

    make sure iTunes is the current window, it doens't work if you're doing something other than iTunes

    Yes all the buttons work when itunes is in the current window, but when its not it doesnt. The reason i am kinda expecting this to work because on my friends ACER laptop you can use the media buttons and the work even if itunes isnt in the current window.

    HMMM... so i downloaded that and installed but now ituns wont even run???

    Well i got it working now but the media buttons still dows not work!!???

    Read the FAQ about Multi-Plugin. There is an extensive Options menu with something for Media Buttons.

    Many keyboards have player control keys which don't work well with iTunes. This option may fix the problem.
    If one mode doesn't work, try choosing another one. Different keyboards react differently to the modes.
