On my 1505, booting up media direct takes as much time as booting up windows. This kinda defeats the purpose.

    Any suggestions on whatÂ’s wrong?

Are you booting it up for the first time? MD takes a while the first time, since it has to build up its libraries.

If it does it all the time, I would suggest re-installing MD on your machine. Dell will have to send you the CD though.

IT's not nescessary to use the MD , it doesn't work as good as you boot in windows and use ur own softwares to play media files. After that you have to boot to windows anyway. Delete it from your HDD and get more space is better choice ( if you don't want MD , just a suggestion and think carefully if u want to delete it).
