    media direct v3 with xp and vista

    hello,
    i was looking to boot dell media direct with mine windows os ( xp and vista)
    the official way guided by is too use dell media direct cd to create partitions for Vista and this is the way we could Dell media Direct . I m having a dell 1520 inspiron notebook
    I had tried many times to do this but when a second os is loaded , the mbr gets corrupted and dell media direct does,nt works

    can u help me getting any links / posts / threads for achieving this :)

    i also want to knw how shud i partition mine hdd
    using which soft
    also i m requiring 5-6 partitions for mine dell 1520 ( 160 gb ) excluding the diagnostis and dell media partition
    plz help me out of this

    Actually you can follow my guide given in my signature with just a small change... When installing XP and Vista you should install Xp first and then Vista that too on different partitions.... Also my guide explains about creating partitions for linux and installing it.... That also wont be necessary in your case....
