I've gone through the sticky on the top of the dell thread but it didn't fix the problem.

i recently formatted and triple booted my m1210 w/

    1 ubuntu feisty fawn
    2 windows vista
    3 windows xp pro

i never deleted the mediadirect partitions there is one small partition and one partition around 2 gb i never touched ...

so after all those OSes are up and running i thought i would just repair mediadirect (as the sticky says i never changed the HDD just repartitioned)

but after making the disc, booting from it and typing the few lines of codes, it says done but when i press the mediadirect button it goes to the loader for windows vista/xp ?!?!?

anyone know what's going on ?! don't wanna reformat everything again

Do you have Quickset installed in XP? I don't know that it would fix the issue though, it's just the first question always asked. Since you have a custom bootloader going, that may be the issue. Are you using a linux bootloader?

I had no issues booting XP/Vista/Mediadirect, but linux always messed it up for me. Some setting I never got right I suppose >.>
