Do I need to look for some specific memory sticks to use in M1210? I remember trying to upgrade old dell desktop with RAM and it would not let me do it, I had to order it directly from dell for 3x the usual price (thank god it was not mine). Also, I know Thinkpads require special memory so I'm wondering if I should be looking for something specific for my 1210...
Since I'm getting my M1210 with an nVidia card, I'm concerned that it will take up too much of my system memory so I would like to get 2G of RAM. It is a $225 upgrade from Dell but I want to see if I can find something cheaper.
Any suggestions for docking stations? Dell offers one from Kingston I believe for $75.. Good/bad?
Thanks a lot,
Dima

www.newegg.com You need either pc-4300, pc-4200 or pc-5300, pc-5400. Any of those will work in your laptop. As fara s docking stations go, the xps and inspirion models don't offer docking stations that are true. What you will get is a glorified USB hub that offers a little more connectivity. Not worth in in my opinion.
